Regional Sales Director - Nordic & Netherlands
Smartsheet is seeking a Regional Sales Director for the Nordic & Netherlands region to lead a team of up to eight Account Executives. This role involves driving sales performance, developing customer accounts, and expanding market presence both directly and through partners and channels. The position reports to the RVP of EMEA Sales and is based in London, UK, with hybrid work options available.
Key responsibilities include leading the sales team to exceed quarterly and annual quotas, executing complex solution-based sales processes, and coaching account executives to develop and implement account strategies. The role also involves engaging senior executives in target accounts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to close software and professional services solutions, and proactively addressing issues to accelerate growth in the EMEA region.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading strategic SaaS sales teams to exceed quotas and drive substantial growth in Global 2000 accounts. Experience leading Nordic and Benelux regional teams, fluency in English and a Nordic/Benelux language, and extensive experience building sustainable relationships with partners and selling through channels are essential. A minimum of 5 years in sales management of enterprise software, preferably Enterprise SaaS, and over 10 years in the software industry are required. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, along with the ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a collaborative environment, are also important.
