Regional Director, Sales - UKISA
The Regional Director, Sales - UKISA at Chainguard will lead a team of 5-7 Enterprise Account Executives, reporting directly to the VP of International Sales. This role is pivotal in driving business growth and revenue within the UK and Nordic regions, focusing on expanding Chainguard's presence in these markets. Chainguard specializes in providing secure, production-ready open source software solutions, helping organizations eliminate threats in their software supply chains.
Key responsibilities include managing and executing the business and revenue objectives of the sales team, fostering a collaborative environment for team growth, and enhancing processes for onboarding and ramping Account Executives. The role also involves preparing forecasts, managing territories and industries, establishing performance metrics, and aligning with supporting teams across marketing, customer success, business development, sales engineering, and customer engineering. Additionally, the Regional Director will set strategies for Chainguard's largest accounts.
The ideal candidate will have over six years of experience selling technical products, preferably in open source, DevOps, or security sectors, and at least three years of successfully managing high-performing software sales teams. Experience with Cloud Service Provider marketplaces, a proven track record of exceeding performance objectives, and existing enterprise customer relationships in the UK and/or Nordics are essential. Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation systems, strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are also required. Willingness to travel as needed is expected.
