Regional Director Sales - CEUR
The Regional Director Sales - CEUR at Chainguard is a leadership role responsible for managing a team of 5-7 Account Executives within the Central Europe region. This position reports directly to the Vice President of International Sales and plays a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and revenue objectives. Chainguard specializes in delivering secure, production-ready open-source software solutions to organizations worldwide.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the business and revenue performance of the sales team, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes team development, and enhancing processes for onboarding and ramping Account Executives. The role also involves preparing forecasts, managing territory and industry growth plans, establishing performance metrics, and aligning with cross-functional teams such as marketing, customer success, and engineering to set strategies for Chainguard's largest accounts.
The ideal candidate will have over six years of experience selling technical products, preferably in open source, DevOps, or security sectors, and at least three years of successfully managing high-performing software sales teams. Experience with Cloud Service Provider marketplaces, a proven track record of exceeding performance objectives, and existing enterprise customer relationships in the DACH region are essential. Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation systems, strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are also required.
