Receptionist
Tyson & Mendes, a nationally recognized law firm specializing in insurance defense litigation, is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist to join our team in Fresno, CA. As the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a welcoming and efficient office environment. This is a fully in-office position, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced atmosphere and enjoys being an integral part of a legal team.
In this role, you will be responsible for greeting clients and guests in a professional manner, handling a multi-line telephone system, and assisting with daily incoming and outgoing mail. Additional duties include assisting with document management and file organization for both physical and electronic documents, preparing binders for attorneys, and assisting with the preparation of files for new matters. You will also provide general administrative support to attorneys and staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of office experience, with previous law firm experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat, is required. The ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, postage machines, and scanners is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment are necessary.
Compensation for this position includes an hourly pay range of $17-23, depending on experience. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate, as needed. Comprehensive benefits coverage is offered, including plans available at zero employee cost (with average annual employee contributions for health, vision, and dental coverage ranging from $700 to $1,700).
