Quant Developer DeFi - Digital Assets
IMC is seeking a Quant Developer to join its DeFi team in Zug, Switzerland. This team is responsible for developing algorithms that support IMC's trading activities in the rapidly evolving decentralized finance landscape. The role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from enhancing existing trading strategies to creating new solutions from scratch, in close collaboration with team members.
Key responsibilities include developing competitive trading algorithms and platforms, designing and implementing advanced trade execution and connectivity solutions, researching and analyzing DeFi protocols using on-chain data, and staying updated on developments within DeFi protocols.
Candidates should have proficiency in applied mathematics, statistics, and numerical modeling, along with knowledge of cryptocurrencies. Experience with blockchain-related programming languages such as Go, Rust, Solidity, or Move is required. Familiarity with a Linux R&D environment, including Git and related tools, and the ability to conduct independent research are also essential. Proficiency in English is necessary.
The position is based in IMC's Zug office and is primarily onsite, with limited flexibility for remote work.
