QA Automation Engineer
Litify is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our Product & Engineering team. In this role, you will focus on both manual testing of new features and building scalable automated test coverage using Playwright. As part of the Docrio team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our legal software, which is built on the Salesforce platform.
Your primary responsibilities will include executing manual test cases for new features, bug fixes, and regression coverage within the sprint cycle. You will manage QA workflows in Jira, including ticket progression, bug reporting, and maintaining test status. Additionally, you will write and maintain automated tests in Playwright, following Page Object Model design patterns, and integrate these tests into our existing Xray test management repository. Collaboration with developers and product teams on acceptance criteria, risk assessment, and release readiness is also a key aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a QA role with a strong emphasis on test automation. Hands-on experience with Playwright is preferred, though strong experience with other modern automation frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or WebdriverIO is acceptable. Familiarity with Xray or comparable test management tools integrated with Jira is important, as is comfort in managing QA work within Jira. Experience in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment, strong defect documentation and communication skills, and experience contributing to or maintaining a shared QA codebase are also required.
The estimated base salary for this role is $90,000, with potential for bonuses and benefits. Our compensation ranges are based on competitive industry standards and are part of a comprehensive reward package. Individual pay decisions are based on factors such as qualifications, experience level, skill set, and internal equity.
