Mercuryo is seeking a Project Manager / Dev Unit Lead to oversee the full lifecycle of high-impact crypto and fintech initiatives. In this role, you will lead a dedicated development team, ensuring smooth project implementation, on-time delivery, budget alignment, and top-tier quality. As the Project Manager / Dev Unit Lead, you will operate a cross-functional IT development unit within a larger team. Your responsibilities include resolving project-related issues, serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, managing the full development cycle—including production releases—and maintaining business requirements for each task delivered by the unit. You will also manage priorities and backlogs, collaborate with business and product analysts to develop new tasks, and ensure deadlines are met. Organizing the unit's work efficiently using Agile methodologies and maintaining excellent documentation in Jira and Confluence are key aspects of this role.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager, Team Lead, System Analyst, or Delivery Manager in a high-paced IT development team. Experience in fintech or core functionality teams is essential, along with a strong understanding of current development processes and stages. Proficiency in Agile methodologies, strong communication skills, a technical background, analytical abilities, and system thinking are required. Effectiveness in working with remote teams, experience in writing technical specifications, and familiarity with high-load systems are also important. A high level of independence and a willingness to take ownership of tasks are valued, as is confident spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher.
