Business Analyst (Loyalty/Retention)
Mercuryo is seeking a Business Analyst to join our Boost product stream, focusing on loyalty and retention initiatives. This role is integral to our mission of blending traditional banking with decentralized finance, aiming to provide seamless access to Web3 and traditional financial services. The successful candidate will work at the intersection of product, data, and economics, transforming high-level product ideas into detailed, development-ready specifications that enhance user engagement and long-term value.
Key responsibilities include translating product requirements into comprehensive specifications encompassing user experience flows, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and economic calculations. The Business Analyst will design multiple implementation scenarios, evaluate trade-offs in unit economics, develop and maintain feature-level metrics, ensure accurate data tracking, and validate data quality. Collaboration with design teams to balance user experience, conversion rates, and compliance is essential, as is coordinating with development, quality assurance, and other stakeholders to proactively manage risks and maintain thorough documentation.
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in business or product analytics within product teams, with a strong background in loyalty and retention programs such as cashback and rewards. A deep understanding of product metrics like retention and conversion, hands-on experience with unit economics, and proficiency in defining user experience requirements are crucial. The ability to drive features from product requirement documents to delivery, basic SQL knowledge, experience with analytics tools, and strong communication, ownership, and prioritization skills are also required.
