The Professional Services Principal Security Consultant at Tenable, Inc. is a senior role focused on leading and mentoring the Professional Services team within the U.S. Northeast region. In this role, the consultant will develop and implement a training program for the Professional Services team, ensuring they are well-versed in Tenable's service offerings. Responsibilities include delivering consultative advice to clients, managing client escalations, supporting business development activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance service offerings. The consultant will also contribute to the development of internal delivery methods and tools, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Candidates should have over 12 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity, with a strong background in professional services. A bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience is required. Essential skills include excellent communication, analytical abilities, and proficiency in diagnosing complex security issues. Experience with Tenable products or similar vulnerability assessment tools, as well as familiarity with security testing tools like Metasploit and Burp Suite, is preferred. Current security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or equivalent are also desired.
