WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Own the end-to-end merchant experience: from developer onboarding and API integration through payment operations, revenue reconciliation, dispute management, and merchant dashboards

- Own the developer platform roadmap: API design, documentation, sandbox environments, and integration tooling that reduce time-to-first-sale

- Partner with engineering to design and ship platform integrations (Shopify, direct API, and emerging channels)

- Serve as the voice of the merchant — synthesizing feedback from sales, merchant support, and direct merchant conversations into a prioritized roadmap

- Define success metrics for merchant health (time to first sale, NRR, merchant NPS) and instrument the systems needed to track them

- Navigate the intersection of payments infrastructure and compliance requirements, translating regulatory constraints into implementable product decisions

- Drive cross-functional alignment across sales, customer support, and engineering to ensure smooth merchant launches and ongoing partner success

WHO YOU ARE

- Developer or merchant-facing experience: 3–5 years in product management, solutions engineering, developer relations, or a technical customer-facing role. You've sat across from a developer trying to integrate something you built, and you've felt the friction.

- API fluency: You've worked on or with REST APIs. You understand webhooks, auth patterns, error handling, and what good API documentation looks like. You can participate meaningfully in API design conversations.

- Operator mindset: You think about what merchants need to run their business — reconciliation, reporting, dispute resolution — not just what gets them to first sale. You understand that retention is a product problem.
