Product Design Manager
Gong is seeking a highly motivated Product Design Manager to lead and mentor a team of product designers, driving high-quality design outcomes across key product areas. This role is integral to shaping the user experience and design vision in close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams. The position is based in Dublin, with a hybrid work model requiring three days per week in the office.
The Product Design Manager will be responsible for leading, coaching, and managing a team of Product Designers, supporting their growth and development. Key responsibilities include driving the design vision and user experience for one of Gong’s key product areas, providing clear direction and feedback to ensure user-centered solutions, guiding designers through discovery and execution phases, and collaborating closely with product managers and engineers to shape roadmaps and deliver impactful experiences. Additionally, the role involves evolving and upholding UI patterns, design systems, and best practices across the team, as well as contributing to hiring and building a strong design culture within the Dublin design team.
Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience managing product designers and a strong background in designing flows, experiences, and UI for complex digital products, ideally in B2B SaaS. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing people leadership with hands-on involvement, capable of providing clear feedback and guiding decision-making, and adept at breaking down complex challenges into actionable solutions. Proficiency with Figma and modern design workflows, experience with user research methodologies, and excellent communication and organizational skills are also required.
