Procurement Specialist

Alpega Group is seeking a dedicated Procurement Specialist to join our team in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona, Spain. This role focuses on indirect procurement, particularly within the IT and Purchased Services categories, and involves close collaboration with departments such as Finance, Marketing, Sales, IT, and HR. Reporting to the Director of Procurement & ESG, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing supplier relationships and optimizing procurement processes.

Key responsibilities include managing the entire supplier lifecycle—from initial contact and request for information (RFI) or request for quotation (RFQ) processes to contract finalization. The Procurement Specialist will support the preparation and execution of tenders and negotiations for service suppliers, including those in training, HR and payroll, creative agencies, and IT software and hardware. Additionally, the role involves overseeing contract renewals and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to analyze financial opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's or master's degree with a focus on finance, economics, or business administration. Fluency in both English and Spanish is mandatory. Advanced proficiency in Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, is required. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with a proactive, eager-to-learn attitude and a results-oriented approach. An analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to see the bigger picture is crucial, as is the capacity to work independently and take initiative.
