Privacy Counsel

Osborne Clarke is seeking a Privacy Counsel to join its London office, focusing on data protection and privacy law within the firm's Commercial team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing strategic advice on complex privacy matters in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The Privacy Counsel will be responsible for advising clients on compliance with data protection regulations, drafting and negotiating data processing agreements, and managing data breach incidents. The role also involves conducting privacy impact assessments, developing internal policies, and delivering training sessions to clients and colleagues.

Candidates should be qualified solicitors with significant experience in data protection and privacy law, preferably within a reputable law firm or in-house legal department. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are also required.
