Compliance Officer
Osborne Clarke is seeking a Risk & Compliance Officer to join their dynamic team in Bristol. This permanent position offers a hybrid working pattern, with three days in the office. The role is integral to the firm's commitment to maintaining high standards of regulatory compliance and risk management.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Risk & Compliance and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining effective policies and processes to manage the firm's exposure to risk. Key duties include participating in firm-wide projects, conducting internal audits to uphold ISO 9001 accreditation, preparing reports on regulatory outcomes, and managing compliance training programs. Additionally, the role involves advising fee earners and business services on compliance matters and promoting continuous process improvement.
Applicants should demonstrate a genuine interest in compliance and regulatory work, possess strong attention to detail, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to work under pressure, manage conflicting deadlines, and collaborate effectively within a team is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with PowerBI are also required.
