Principal Technical Marketing Engineer | Ireland | Remote
Grafana Labs is seeking a Principal Technical Marketing Engineer to join their remote team in Ireland. The role focuses on bridging the gap between technical product capabilities and customer understanding, particularly for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and platform engineering leaders.
In this position, the engineer will develop strategic, buyer-focused demos, videos, workshops, and webinars to effectively communicate Grafana's value proposition. They will collaborate with Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) to identify key buyer personas and technical messages, extending narratives into various channels such as analyst briefings, industry forums, and online technical communities. Additionally, the role involves enabling Solutions Engineers with clear, consistent technical storytelling and leveraging automation and AI to scale technical content.
Candidates should have over four years of relevant experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, or product management, with a proven ability to articulate the value of technical products to both customers and sellers. Experience in marketing and selling to a technical audience, a passion for open-source and cloud-native technologies, and familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude are also desirable. Strong writing and communication skills are essential for this role.
