Senior FullStack Engineer - Grafana Cloud Observability| Canada | Remote
Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior FullStack Engineer to join their Grafana Cloud Observability team. This fully remote position is open to candidates in the United States and Canada, specifically within the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone. As a member of the Cloud Integrations team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing integrations that enable users to collect, visualize, and act on telemetry data from various systems and applications. Your contributions will directly impact the out-of-the-box experience of Grafana Cloud users.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing tooling that powers Grafana Cloud's portfolio of cloud integrations and observability applications. Your work will involve full-stack development, including frontend components written in TypeScript and React, backend services in Go, and monitoring mixins using Jsonnet. You will oversee projects from inception to production, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. Additionally, you will contribute to open-source projects such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana Alloy, and participate in the on-call rotation for the services you develop.
Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in full-stack development with a product-focused approach. Proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies is essential, with experience in Go and TypeScript being highly desirable. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is advantageous, as the company encourages the use of modern AI coding assistants to enhance productivity. A solid understanding of the observability ecosystem, including tools like Prometheus and Grafana, is important. Strong written communication skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with a distributed team.
Compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from CAD $164,490 to $197,389, depending on experience and skill set. In addition to the base salary, employees receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), providing ownership in Grafana Labs' success.
