Principal Engineer - Java Full Stack (Angular/React), AWS
Experian is seeking a Principal Engineer specializing in Java Full Stack development to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or React. The position is based in Hyderabad, India, with a hybrid work model requiring two days per week in the office.
As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing high-quality, scalable backend services and responsive frontend components. Your day-to-day activities will include architecting microservices deployed on AWS, ensuring performance and reliability, designing reusable UI components, writing clean and maintainable code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, Product, and UX. Additionally, you will mentor engineers and enforce coding standards through thoughtful peer reviews.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, along with over 15 years of professional software development experience. Required skills include hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and at least six years of experience with Angular or React in production environments. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture patterns is essential. Experience with AWS services such as EKS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS/SNS, and S3 is also required, along with a strong understanding of CI/CD tools and pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and automated testing frameworks.
