Principal Account Executive (West Coast)
As a Principal Account Executive at Veracode, you will be an experienced sales professional responsible for managing the full sales cycle within your assigned geographic territory on the West Coast. Veracode is a global leader in Application Risk Management for the AI era, providing a platform trusted by organizations worldwide to build and maintain secure software from code creation to cloud deployment.
In this role, you will create and execute strategic territory plans to attract and close business, leveraging cross-functional relationships with business development, marketing, regional partners, and system integrators. You will accurately forecast and deliver a predictable sales cycle, engaging with upper management to navigate complex sales processes. Additionally, you will consult with and inspire prospects to engage in a value-based sales motion from initial discovery through proof of concept to purchase order, and participate in industry-leading events attended by innovative vendors and thought leaders.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of full-cycle sales experience selling technical B2B SaaS solutions to large enterprise customers, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Working knowledge of Force Management and MEDPICC deal qualification is essential, along with the ability to map and navigate complex relationships, develop and test champions, and engage across all levels of an organization utilizing executive sponsors. A team-oriented mindset and willingness to travel are also required.
