Principal Account Executive (PA/NJ)
As a Principal Account Executive at Veracode, you will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle within the Pennsylvania and New Jersey territories. This role involves prospecting, selling, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in large enterprise accounts. Veracode is a global leader in Application Risk Management, providing solutions that help organizations build and maintain secure software from code creation to cloud deployment.
Your primary responsibilities will include creating and executing strategic territory plans to attract and close business, leveraging cross-functional relationships with business development, marketing, regional partners, and system integrators. You will accurately forecast and deliver a predictable sales cycle, engaging with upper management to navigate complex sales processes. Additionally, you will challenge and consult with prospects to think beyond immediate needs, engaging them in a value-based sales motion from initial discovery through proof of concept to purchase order. Participation in industry-leading events and continuous sales training will further elevate your career.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of full-cycle sales experience selling technical B2B SaaS solutions to large enterprise customers, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Working knowledge of Force Management and MEDPICC deal qualification is essential to identify, qualify, and progress opportunities. The ability to map and navigate complex relationships, develop and test champions, and engage across all levels of an organization utilizing executive sponsors is crucial. A team-oriented mindset and willingness to travel are also required.
