Pre-Sales Engineer - Orlando
Auctane is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This role involves collaborating closely with clients to identify their business needs and developing customized solutions using Auctane's products and services. The Pre-Sales Engineer will work alongside the sales team to understand clients' logistics and IT environments, designing and presenting solutions that align with their requirements. This position requires a strong understanding of the small parcel shipping industry and the ability to provide operational and technical support throughout the pre-sales and implementation processes.
Key responsibilities include serving as the primary logistics, operational, and technical sales point of contact during pre-sales engagements and implementations. The Pre-Sales Engineer will develop logistical, operational, and technical solutions for both internal sales teams and clients, leveraging the "ShipMatch®" process to match clients with appropriate technology and carrier mixes. Additionally, the role involves building and delivering customized analyses and proposals to accelerate customer adoption of Auctane's technology and shipping solutions, as well as delivering tailored product demonstrations and analyzing shipping data to meet client needs.
The ideal candidate will possess API and application development skills, along with a minimum of three years of technical SaaS selling experience. Experience traveling in the field to meet with customers is essential. Preferred qualifications include three or more years of experience in the shipping or eCommerce industry, a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets. Strong persuasion skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the eCommerce fulfillment market are also desirable.
