Lucanet is seeking a People Operations Specialist to join our team on a 2-year contract, with the potential for a permanent position thereafter. As the primary HR representative in Bucharest, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our global workforce of over 800 employees. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, with 1–2 days per week in our Bucharest office.

In this role, you will manage the entire employee lifecycle, including contracts, employee data, documentation, and onboarding/offboarding processes. You will serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance to managers on HR-related topics. Ensuring compliance with Romanian labor laws and internal policies is a key aspect of this position. Additionally, you will address complex issues such as immigration and labor law matters, and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR workflows and systems.

The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of experience in HR or People Operations, with a strong understanding of Romanian labor law. Experience in international labor law is advantageous. You should be capable of handling complex situations independently and possess a proactive mindset. Experience in an international business environment, particularly within in-house software development, is a plus.
