People Operations Lead
OpenFX is seeking a People Operations Lead to establish and manage the people operations function, with a primary focus on the Bangalore hub. This leadership role involves designing and implementing core HR infrastructures such as onboarding, offboarding, employment compliance, benefits administration, HRIS management, employee relations, and performance frameworks. The position reports to the COO and collaborates closely with the Head of People Operations & Talent and other functional leaders. As the senior people operations representative in Bangalore, the role is pivotal in managing and supporting the company's workforce.
Key responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end people operations for the Bangalore hub and supporting global processes across the US, EU, UK, and UAE. The role entails designing and implementing structured onboarding and offboarding programs, managing the HRIS (Rippling) rollout and administration, ensuring compliance with India employment laws, developing performance management processes, and partnering with legal and finance on employment-related matters. Additionally, the position involves handling employee relations issues and building foundational people analytics to inform leadership decisions.
The ideal candidate possesses over 10 years of experience in people operations or HR, with significant tenure at high-growth technology companies. Deep expertise in India employment law, HR compliance, and statutory requirements is essential. Experience with HRIS management, particularly Rippling, and a proven track record of building people operations processes from the ground up are required. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to operate autonomously in a globally distributed environment are also crucial.
