Lucanet Group is seeking a People Operations and Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team in Bucharest. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a pivotal role in managing the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth operations for our global workforce of over 800 colleagues. This position offers the opportunity to work in a flexible environment, with the autonomy to lead and improve HR processes within a rapidly growing fintech company.

In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day HR operations, including drafting and managing employment contracts, maintaining accurate employee records, and overseeing onboarding and offboarding procedures. You will serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies and supporting managers with HR-related topics. Ensuring compliance with Romanian labor laws and internal policies will be a critical aspect of your responsibilities, as well as resolving complex cases such as immigration matters and cross-functional escalations. Additionally, you will identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and support internal HR tools through testing and implementation projects.

The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of experience in HR or People Operations, with a strong understanding of Romanian labor law. The ability to handle complex situations independently and make informed decisions without constant guidance is essential. Adaptability to both routine tasks and ambiguous scenarios, coupled with a proactive mindset, will contribute to success in this role. Experience working within an international business, particularly in an in-house software development environment, is advantageous.

Lucanet Group offers a flexible hybrid working model, allowing collaboration at our Bucharest office 1–2 days per week. Employees receive a monthly benefit allowance of 1,375 RON to spend on what matters most to them, along with 25 days of paid time off and 2 additional days during the winter season. Comprehensive medical subscriptions ensure health and well-being are prioritized. Regular performance and salary review cycles are designed to boost income and provide a clear, structured career path. As a well-established, award-winning business with high ambitions and a successful, long-term roadmap, Lucanet Group provides a stable and ambitious work environment.
