Payroll Analyst

Harbor is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join our growing UK team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing end-to-end payroll tasks for our UK population, ensuring accurate and efficient payroll and benefit processing. This remote position offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment where your expertise will support employee experience and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will be a team player comfortable adapting swiftly to changing priorities.

Key responsibilities include coordinating and processing multi-country payrolls, with a primary focus on the UK, EMEA, and APAC regions, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness in all transactions. You will handle day-to-day payroll administration, respond promptly to employee inquiries, review and verify payroll data for compliance with local regulations, and liaise with the finance department on reporting requirements. Additionally, you will process all payroll data entries related to the employee lifecycle, calculate adjustments and special payments, and perform year-end payroll activities.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in global or multi-country payroll administration, with demonstrated knowledge of pay practices. Proficiency in UK statutory requirements, including PAYE, RTI submissions, SSP, SMP, and year-end reporting (P60s), is essential. Strong mathematical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential material with care and sensitivity are required. Proficiency with major payroll/HRIS systems and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel are advantageous.
