Payroll Analyst, Global Payroll
Chainguard is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support its expanding global payroll operations. This role emphasizes ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and process improvement across multiple countries, with a strong focus on pre-payroll analytics and audits. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Accounting, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to maintain smooth payroll processes and adapt systems as the company grows.
Key responsibilities include performing pre-payroll audits for U.S. payroll to identify and resolve discrepancies before submission, analyzing payroll data to provide insights to Finance and leadership, reviewing payroll inputs such as commissions and bonuses for accuracy, and conducting regular audits to investigate variances. Additionally, the role involves assisting with payroll cycles, preparing payroll inputs, maintaining accurate payroll data across systems, and responding to employee payroll inquiries.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of payroll experience, preferably in a high-growth or global environment. Strong analytical skills with experience in auditing payroll data are essential. Proficiency in supporting U.S. payroll operations with exposure to international payroll, hands-on experience with Workday Payroll, familiarity with OneSource Virtual (OSV), and experience working with global payroll vendors like Deel or Remote are highly desirable. A high attention to detail, ability to manage data across multiple systems, and a self-starter mindset are also important.
