Partner Manager - France (VARs)
The Partner Manager - France (VARs) role at Chainguard focuses on managing and expanding relationships with Value-Added Resellers (VARs) and Regional System Integrators within the French market. This position is integral to Chainguard's mission of providing secure, production-ready open-source software solutions to organizations worldwide. The Partner Manager will collaborate closely with the sales team to demonstrate the value and expertise of Chainguard's offerings to partners and clients.
Key responsibilities include owning and delivering partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline and revenue outcomes across assigned VARs and Regional System Integrators. The role involves driving consistent pipeline creation through joint prospecting, partner-led opportunity identification, and co-selling motions with aligned field sales teams. Additionally, the Partner Manager will improve partner attach rates by enabling partners to position Chainguard as a core component of their security, cloud-native, and modernization offerings. Accelerating deal velocity and win rates by ensuring partners are effectively enabled and engaged early in the sales cycle is also a critical aspect of the role.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Channel Manager, with a successful sales background that includes carrying and overachieving quotas. Experience working with and through VARs is essential. The role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with public speaking and excellent presentation abilities. An entrepreneurial self-starter attitude, strong technical aptitude, and a data-driven approach are also important qualifications.
