Paralegal - Legal Holds

Wilson Elser is seeking a Paralegal to join its national team supporting a broad litigation portfolio. This role involves assisting with investigations, matter intake, preserving evidence, and maintaining evidence databases. The position offers a remote working arrangement for candidates located in any state where the firm has an office.

Key responsibilities include performing investigations and file management duties related to legal hold requests and litigation discovery requests under attorney supervision. The Paralegal will obtain and manage client documents, including electronic data, identify potentially relevant materials for each case, coordinate efforts between client personnel, attorneys, and outside vendors, and maintain organized evidentiary data and case-related information.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree, with a degree in paralegal studies or a Paralegal Certificate being a plus. A minimum of 1-2 years of litigation paralegal experience is required, with experience in legal holds and evidence preservation considered advantageous. Strong analytical and communication skills, professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information are essential. Proficiency with data entry and experience with Electronically Stored Information and document management systems are also beneficial.
