The Paralegal position at LA28 is a vital role within the legal team, focusing on employment and compliance matters. LA28 is the independent, non-profit organizing committee responsible for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, aiming to deliver an unparalleled experience for athletes, fans, partners, and the community.

Key responsibilities include tracking business entity documents related to state registration, charitable status, and tax, as well as drafting, filing, and maintaining these records. The role also involves creating and maintaining compliance tracking systems and training materials, participating in dispute resolution management related to employment and data privacy matters, and drafting and reviewing operational contracts for services and products associated with pre-Games, Games-time, and post-Games events.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, preferably in a large law firm or corporate in-house legal department. Strong oral and written communication skills, proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and experience with contract management systems are highly preferred. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with exceptional research, organizational, and problem-solving skills, capable of interacting diplomatically with senior executives, staff, and external business partners.
