Mid-Market Account Executive - Financial Services & Healthcare
Gong is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to join our Emerging Markets vertical, focusing on expanding our presence within the financial services, healthcare, consulting, manufacturing, and energy industries. This role is integral to our mission of transforming revenue teams through AI-powered insights. As part of our dynamic sales team, you'll engage with prospective clients, guiding them through the sales process and showcasing the value of our Revenue AI Operating System.
In this position, you'll manage prospects from initial contact to deal closure, ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout. Your responsibilities will include articulating and demonstrating our value proposition to create enthusiasm among potential clients, cultivating lasting relationships, running and implementing pilot programs, and maintaining accurate sales forecasts to achieve quarterly quotas.
The ideal candidate will have over three years of relevant closing experience, particularly in outbound sales to financial services, healthcare, consulting, manufacturing, or energy organizations. Experience in SaaS and enterprise software sales, with a proven track record of closing deals ranging from $50K to $250K+, is essential. Candidates should be comfortable engaging with VP and C-suite executives, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit. Additionally, residency in Salt Lake City with the ability to work in the office three days a week is required.
