Media Planning Director
The Media Planning Director LATAM at WPP Media is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing media planning and activation operations for a key tech client across 14+ markets in Latin America. This position focuses on standardizing processes and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency throughout the region. The director will develop and implement comprehensive 360-degree media strategies, encompassing both traditional and digital channels, while building strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and leading regional teams.
Key responsibilities include orchestrating multi-market operations, developing integrated media strategies, and managing complex media negotiations at a regional scale. The director will also be tasked with solving complex problems through clear planning, driving account growth via operational excellence and strategic foresight, and leveraging WPP's advanced tools to shape future regional media strategies.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, with a master's degree or relevant certifications being advantageous. A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in media planning and buying, particularly in digital media, and at least 3 years in a leadership role managing client accounts and teams are required. Extensive experience leading multi-market operations across Latin America and a proven track record in strategic planning and budget management are essential.
