Marketing Automation Specialist - Hybrid
Smartsheet is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to join its Marketing Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing automated and batch communications within the Marketo platform, ensuring seamless campaign execution across various marketing technologies. This position requires flexibility to work a swing shift to maintain real-time collaboration with the US office.
Key responsibilities include administering and producing within the Marketo instance, designing and optimizing automated nurture programs, managing email campaigns, and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations. Additionally, you will support the technical setup and execution of webinars and virtual events using Zoom Events, ensuring accurate data flow into Marketo and Salesforce for effective follow-up and attribution tracking.
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in marketing operations or automation within a B2B SaaS environment, with deep expertise in Marketo, including program building, lead scoring, and API integrations. A Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) certification is strongly preferred. Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, experience with virtual event platforms like Zoom Events, and familiarity with sales engagement tools such as Salesloft are also desired.
