The Manager, Risk and Fraud role at foodpanda, a subsidiary of Delivery Hero, involves leading efforts to analyze and mitigate fraudulent activities within the company's operations. Key responsibilities include performing in-depth analyses to understand risk and fraud behaviors, contributing to the development of fraud detection features and models, and building and maintaining fraud rules in response to evolving fraudulent activities. The role also involves extracting insights from large datasets to devise new strategies for fraud mitigation, participating in regular business reviews, identifying gaps in current systems and policies, and recommending enhancements to address emerging fraud risks. Additionally, the manager will own multiple projects aimed at optimizing fraud strategies, policies, processes, systems, and tools, while building cross-functional partnerships with teams such as Product, Policy, Legal, and Engineering to implement effective solutions.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 4 to 5 years of experience working with analytical tools and data analysis (e.g., SQL, Python, Business Intelligence dashboards). Experience in data-focused roles such as product analytics, business analytics, business operations, or data science is essential. The role requires excellence in project management, structured and logical thinking, process optimization, interpersonal communication, and influencing skills. The ability to present clear solutions with attention to detail, communicate technical concepts effectively with cross-regional and cross-functional stakeholders, and thrive in a rapidly changing environment is also important. Candidates should have a proven track record of managing data projects independently from start to finish and building effective relationships across the business.
