The Manager, Quoting at KnowBe4 will lead a global team responsible for responding to RFxs and related inquiries from both customers and partners for our global sales team, including public and private sector sales. You will ensure our content is persuasive, concise, and compliant. The RFP Manager and supporting team will work together to research, draft, and deliver content for responses to RFxs. You’ll also leverage tools and design processes to drive efficiency and scalability, including curating, growing, and updating a library of content. As a collaborative team, you’ll work effectively with Account Managers and subject matter experts (SMEs) in legal and information security to gather, organize, and synthesize content. You should be an excellent writer with the ability to convey complex ideas in easily understood customer-focused responses. You must understand RFx requirements and synthesize technical discussions.

Key responsibilities include working collaboratively to identify and write content for RFx (e.g., RFP, RFQ, RFI) responses, crafting compelling proposal narratives that synthesize both existing content and new inputs from SMEs, and independently gathering, organizing, and synthesizing information from diverse KnowBe4 stakeholders, including those from sales, product, legal, information security, and other organizations. Additionally, the role involves using appropriate channels and workflows when working with legal or other departments on the filling out of RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, curating, growing, and updating our team library of approved content, and developing and maintaining good relations and coordination with legal and InfoSec in the accomplishment of the above tasks. The Manager will also drive continuous improvement initiatives related to these responsibilities and handle timekeeping and time-off reporting for direct reports.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, exhibit strong leadership, and have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a proposal writing role. Experience working with company stakeholders across functional competencies and management levels is essential, as is delivering high-quality content on tight, customer-driven timelines. Proficiency with Gmail, Google Docs, MS Office (Word and Excel), and web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.) is required. Experience with Salesforce is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent grammar, time management, organization skills, superior customer service skills, and a team-oriented, collaborative approach are also necessary. Candidates should be flexible to work in shifts to support global customer requirements and willing to go the extra mile.
