Manager, Data Operations - APAC
The Manager, Data Operations - APAC at PitchBook Data is responsible for leading and managing the APAC Data Operations teams, overseeing strategy, hiring, training, data quality assurance, research methodologies, benchmarking, budgeting, and operational reviews. This role involves collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to enhance data collection tools, automation capabilities, and workflow efficiency. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, and requires in-office presence five days a week.
Key responsibilities include fostering department culture, leading recruiting and hiring efforts, ensuring successful training and onboarding of new hires, conducting regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports, creating quarterly competitive benchmarking documents, developing market knowledge of APAC data providers, and participating in bi-weekly Data Operations Leadership meetings. The role also involves developing and driving strategic initiatives, performing quality assurance on production profiles across various APAC datasets, supporting the development and rollout of APAC research methodologies, and collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, and Go-To-Market teams to prioritize enhancements and address data gaps.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field, with at least five years of experience in financial data operations, investment research, or private markets intelligence. Alternatively, a Master's degree with three years of related experience is acceptable. Experience in managing multi-regional teams, recruiting, and team development is essential. Proficiency in SQL and/or Python for operational data analysis, familiarity with BI tools like PowerBI for KPI tracking, and experience implementing automation or AI-enabled research tools are required. Knowledge of APAC private and public capital markets and regionalized research methodologies is also necessary.
The compensation package includes an annual base salary of $209,144, with a target annual bonus percentage of 10%.
