Chainguard is seeking a motivated and outcome-oriented Manager of Corporate Sales to lead and scale a team of Account Executives in California. This role involves driving sales growth and expanding the company's customer base in a dynamic business environment. The successful candidate will report directly to the Regional Vice President of Commercial Sales and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute sales strategies and initiatives.

Key responsibilities include territory planning and execution with a strong emphasis on pipeline generation. The Manager will develop and implement sales strategies targeting both short-term revenue goals and long-term pipeline development. Additionally, the role involves recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new sales representatives, fostering a collaborative environment for professional growth, and aligning efforts with customer success, marketing, solutions architects, and professional services teams.

The ideal candidate must reside in the Pacific Time Zone, preferably California, and possess over five years of experience in successfully selling technical products, such as cybersecurity, DevSecOps, or open-source software. At least one year of experience managing high-performing software sales teams is required. A deep understanding of the MEDDPICC framework, experience in recruiting and developing teams, and a passion for coaching and motivating others are essential. Startup experience is strongly preferred.
