Manager- Corporate Law
As a Manager of Corporate Law at Delivery Hero, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all legal matters related to corporate governance across the company's subsidiaries in the region. Delivery Hero is a leading global local delivery platform operating in over 70 countries, with its headquarters in Berlin, Germany. The company has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2017 and is part of the MDAX stock market index.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include advising on mergers and acquisitions, drafting and negotiating agreements, conducting due diligence, and managing closing processes as needed. You will ensure compliance with corporate laws and regulations, assess directors' liabilities, and establish governance frameworks to protect the company and its directors. Additionally, you will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of corporate agreements, provide legal advice on strategic corporate matters, and oversee the legal governance of all subsidiaries, including incorporation, liquidation, and ongoing compliance.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, with a Master's degree (LLM) in Corporate Law being highly preferred. A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE) with a strong focus on corporate law, governance, and transactional work is required, ideally gained in a top-tier law firm and/or an in-house legal department of a listed or multinational company. Demonstrated experience managing legal matters across multiple jurisdictions, including familiarity with company law frameworks in the MENA region, is essential. Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, along with excellent command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken, are also required.
