Gong is seeking a Manager for Commercial Sales within its Industry Expansion team, focusing on sectors such as financial services, healthcare, consulting, manufacturing, and energy. This role involves leading a team of Account Executives to drive business growth and acquire new customers in these industries. The position reports to the Regional Vice President of Industry Expansion Sales.

Key responsibilities include hiring, training, and developing a team of full-cycle Commercial Account Executives. The manager will coach team members on sales, product knowledge, and industry-specific skills, assist throughout sales cycles to secure five-figure accounts, regularly report on team and individual performance, and recommend improvements in processes, efficiency, and productivity.

Candidates must be located in Salt Lake City, Chicago, or New York City, as the role follows a hybrid work model. Requirements include over four years of experience building and managing high-performing sales teams in a SaaS company, preferably within the specified industries, and at least two years managing a Commercial sales team. A successful track record of exceeding quota achievements as both a manager and individual contributor is essential, along with experience in recruiting, retaining, and developing teams from the ground up.
