Machine Learning Júnior

As a Junior Machine Learning Engineer at Experian, you will join a platform team dedicated to building production Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities utilized across various regions. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of platform utilities such as model hosting, inference, evaluation, and memory management, leveraging internal tools on Databricks and AWS.

Your primary responsibilities will include implementing well-defined features and fixes under guidance, enhancing GenAI platform components like serving/inference paths and evaluation pipelines, and delivering priority GenAI use cases using internal platform tools. You will also be expected to write production-quality Python code with appropriate tests, reviews, and documentation, and work within Databricks for development and pipeline integration with AWS services.

The ideal candidate should possess strong Python programming skills and solid software engineering fundamentals, including experience with version control, testing, and code reviews. Exposure to machine learning and large language model concepts through projects, coursework, or industry experience is essential. Additionally, the ability to work effectively in a distributed, English-speaking environment is required. Advanced English proficiency and availability to travel to São Carlos/SP when needed are also necessary.
