Logistics Solution Consultant (SaaS)
The Logistics Solution Consultant at Alpega plays a pivotal role in implementing Transportation Management System (TMS) solutions for clients, focusing on freight procurement processes. This position is based in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona, and involves close collaboration with clients to optimize their logistics operations. Key responsibilities include analyzing existing freight procurement processes, advising clients on optimization strategies using Alpega's TMS products, and adopting client-specific requirements. The role also involves leading professional workshops, training clients on customized solutions, and providing structured documentation of processes and system configurations. Additionally, the consultant supports the sales process, offers input to product owners regarding standard solutions, and assists in testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) phases.
Candidates should possess a solid understanding of logistics, supply chain processes, transportation logistics, and freight forwarding. A background in procurement and tender management is advantageous. Proficiency with interfaces and software solutions, strong communication and presentation skills in English, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential. Knowledge of additional European languages, particularly German, French, or Spanish, is a plus.
