Logistics Coordinator
Fictiv is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to manage and support international and domestic logistics operations. This role involves coordinating import and export shipments, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing logistics partners, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. The position is based in Bengaluru, India, and reports to the Lead of International Logistics.
Key responsibilities include coordinating international export shipments from India to the United States and other global destinations, supporting domestic transportation operations, and managing import processes. The role requires preparing, reviewing, and maintaining import/export documentation, arranging shipment bookings and pickups with various transport partners, and monitoring cargo transit to ensure on-time delivery. Additionally, the Logistics Coordinator will handle shipping escalations, maintain accurate documentation records, and provide freight quotations and route planning to support costing and operations teams.
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, along with over five years of experience in international logistics, freight operations, or supply chain coordination. Strong knowledge of India's import/export regulations, customs procedures, and EXIM documentation is essential. Experience with air and ocean shipments, HS code classification, customs duties, and familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office tools, especially Excel, are also required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are crucial for success in this role.
