Loan Closing & Legal Coordinator
The Loan Closing & Legal Coordinator at Cincinnati Development Fund (CDF) plays a pivotal role in managing the loan closing process, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. This position involves coordinating with external counsel, overseeing documentation, and supporting the organization's mission-driven initiatives in underserved markets.
Key responsibilities include coordinating loan closings from initial checklist through final funding, tracking conditions and due diligence, and collaborating with counsel and title companies. The role also involves reviewing loan and real estate documents, managing closing checklists, and ensuring timely fund disbursements to keep transactions on schedule.
Candidates should have direct experience supporting loan closings, real estate transactions, or financing deals, with familiarity in commercial real estate, affordable housing, banking, or CDFI environments. A working knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and records management is essential, along with strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $55,000 to $65,000, depending on experience and qualifications. CDF positions follow a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days remote.
