Litigation Paralegal
Tyson & Mendes LLP, a nationally recognized law firm specializing in insurance defense litigation, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join their San Francisco office. In this role, the Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in civil litigation, personal injury, and construction defect matters. Key responsibilities include assisting with case management, drafting and proofreading legal documents, organizing and managing large volumes of records, and preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials. The position requires proficiency in legal technology and case management tools to streamline workflows.
Candidates should have a paralegal certification and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in California. A solid understanding of civil litigation, including state and federal deadlines and rules, is essential. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems is also necessary.
The compensation package includes an hourly pay range of $30-43 per hour, depending on experience, with overtime paid at 1.5× the regular hourly rate as needed. Paralegals are eligible for an annual bonus ranging from $250-$3,000 and receive a monthly technology reimbursement of $60. Comprehensive benefits coverage is offered, including plans available at zero employee cost, with average annual employee contributions for health, vision, and dental coverage ranging from $700-$1,700.
