Litigation Paralegal
Tyson & Mendes LLP, a nationally recognized law firm specializing in insurance defense litigation, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Philadelphia, PA. In this role, the Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, including civil litigation, personal injury, and construction defect matters. Key responsibilities encompass assisting with case management, drafting and proofreading legal documents, organizing and managing large volumes of records, and preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials. The position also involves utilizing legal technology and case management tools to streamline workflows in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Candidates should possess a paralegal certification and have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably with experience in Pennsylvania litigation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as Adobe Acrobat, is essential. The role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Compensation for this position includes an hourly pay range of $34-41, depending on experience, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate as needed. Paralegals are eligible for an annual bonus ranging from $250 to $3,000.
