Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a dedicated Litigation Assistant to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is integral to our mission of protecting the rights of individuals against powerful entities. The Litigation Assistant will work closely with our legal team to ensure efficient case management and client support.

The primary responsibilities include performing administrative duties such as scheduling hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics. The assistant will maintain pleadings and discovery indexes, organize exhibits and legal documents, and implement administrative processes to enhance workflow efficiency. Additionally, tasks involve collecting and organizing evidence for attorney review, drafting and proofreading legal documents, conducting legal research, managing client billing, and coordinating meetings and depositions with clients and witnesses.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for those holding an associate's degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a bachelor's degree. A minimum of two years of experience in a legal setting, such as a law firm or corporate legal department, is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute, is essential. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are also necessary. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
