Line Cook II
Soho House & Co. is seeking a Line Cook II to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook II, you will be responsible for maintaining one or two cooking stations, ensuring the seamless preparation of food and sauces, and assisting Senior Chefs during service. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and possess a strong culinary skill set.
In this position, your daily responsibilities will include learning the ingredients of all menu items and consistently producing high-quality dishes across multiple stations. You will support daily preparation tasks, assist with kitchen maintenance, manage equipment, and handle inventory as needed. Additional duties involve preparing food items in various kitchen areas, adhering to specific dietary requests, and ensuring all food items are prepared in a sanitary and timely manner.
To be considered for this role, candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced, upscale culinary environment. A strong understanding of professional cooking techniques, including proficient knife-handling skills, is essential. A valid food handler's certificate is required, along with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team. Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary.
Compensation for this position ranges from $24 to $27 per hour, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include health insurance, paid time off, vision and dental coverage, and a flexible schedule.
