Lift Truck Operator

The Lift Truck Operator at Example Corp is a pivotal role within our logistics team, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our facilities. This position is based in New York, NY, and reports directly to the Warehouse Manager. As a member of our dynamic team, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining the seamless flow of goods, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and effectively.

In this role, you'll operate various types of lift trucks, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts, to transport, stack, and organize products within the warehouse. Your daily tasks will involve loading and unloading trucks, placing merchandise in designated storage areas, and ensuring that all materials are handled safely and efficiently. You'll also be responsible for conducting routine inspections of equipment to maintain safety standards and reporting any maintenance needs promptly.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience operating lift trucks in a warehouse setting, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency. A valid forklift operator certification is required. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a keen attention to detail. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Compensation for this position is competitive, with a salary range of $45,000 to $55,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
