Legal Project Analyst
As a Legal Project Analyst at Clifford Chance, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our legal project management capabilities, supporting our lawyers and Legal Project Managers (LPMs) on large and complex matters. This position is integral to our "Best Delivery" initiative, which aims to provide outstanding client experiences through continuous improvement, smart technology, and efficient resource utilization. Our India team, with over 800 professionals in Gurugram and Hyderabad, has been driving operational excellence and innovation for more than 15 years.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with LPMs, Legal Support Secretaries, and various other teams, including billing, GPMS IT, Legal Technology Advisors, and Continuous Improvement teams. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing fee reports for internal and external clients, tracking project workstreams, and conducting data analyses such as leverage and profitability calculations. Additionally, you will utilize defined templates and tools to produce reports, work with Clifford Chance's Best Delivery tools like CC Connect and KIRA, and provide financial and profitability reporting.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent MS Excel skills, with knowledge of VBA, Access, and Power Pivots being advantageous. A strong commitment to quality, detail orientation, and customer service is essential, along with excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills. A master's degree or equivalent, preferably in finance, and over four years of experience in a corporate or multinational environment are required. Prior experience in project management or coordination, coupled with financial reporting and strong relationship-building abilities, is highly desirable.
