Legal Counsel

Continental is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its ContiTech division, focusing on business operations within the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This role involves providing comprehensive legal support to ContiTech's diverse business activities, ensuring compliance and facilitating strategic initiatives.

The Legal Counsel will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide array of contracts and legal documents pertinent to ContiTech's operations in the APAC region. Key duties include offering legal advice on national and international matters, identifying and mitigating legal risks, and staying abreast of current legal developments. The role also encompasses standardizing legal documents, managing claims, ensuring governance compliance, and developing training materials to enhance legal awareness within the organization.

Candidates must be fully licensed lawyers with bar admission in the APAC region and possess 3 to 5 years of experience in law firms and/or in-house legal roles. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong business orientation, a global mindset, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven approach. Proficiency in MS Office programs, flexibility, teamwork, and excellent communication skills are also required.
