Legal Consultant, Payment

Axiom Talent Platform is seeking a Legal Consultant specializing in Payments to support Fortune 500 clients in Singapore. This role involves providing legal expertise on financial regulatory and payments frameworks across Southeast Asia, including Singapore. The consultant will collaborate with product teams on licensing, compliance, and new product launches, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Key responsibilities include monitoring and interpreting regulatory developments across key markets, offering day-to-day legal guidance, and drafting and reviewing internal policies, risk frameworks, and legal documentation related to payments and financial services. The consultant will work closely with internal stakeholders to navigate complex regulatory environments and support business objectives.

Ideal candidates should have 3-10 years of experience with a deep understanding of regulations impacting payment systems and services in the region. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Chinese is advantageous. While prior cryptocurrency knowledge is not mandatory, familiarity with the fintech sector is beneficial.
