Legal Assistant

Tyson & Mendes LLP, a nationally recognized trial firm, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to support attorneys in civil litigation and insurance defense cases. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for drafting and e-filing legal documents, managing case calendars, coordinating hearings and trial preparations, and maintaining communication with clients and courts. Additional duties include assisting attorneys with daily administrative tasks, scheduling depositions and conference calls, and organizing case files.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation legal assistant, preferably in insurance defense or personal injury. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat, as well as experience with state and federal court filings in Nevada, are required. Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential.

The position offers an hourly pay range of $25 to $41, depending on experience, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate as needed.
